The Link Between Attendance and Safeguarding session was eye-opening. It really challenged the way I view attendance data and gave me practical tools to spot concerns much earlier.
The EBSA resources are excellent. Simple, clear, and exactly what I needed to guide conversations with staff and parents about how anxiety affects school attendance
I’ve attended a lot of safeguarding training over the years, but KSAF has a unique way of connecting it to real, day-to-day attendance practice. It feels relevant and actionable
The CARE Framework is brilliant. Easy to remember, compassionate, and genuinely helpful in staff briefings. We’ve already started using it in our attendance meetings
KSAF resources are professional yet practical. I downloaded the Spot, Link, Act guide and used it in our safeguarding CPD session — staff said it was one of the clearest frameworks they’d seen.
The training was engaging and thought-provoking. It gave me confidence to raise safeguarding concerns linked to patterns of absence that I may have previously overlooked.
I really valued the mix of theory and practice. The EBSA course didn’t just explain the problem, it gave us strategies we could embed straight away
KSAF feels like a genuine community. It’s refreshing to have free, high-quality CPD and resources that are made by people who understand the pressures schools are under.
The When Attendance Signals Risk resource is already pinned on our staffroom board. It’s simple but powerful, and a reminder that attendance is a safeguarding issue.
What stood out to me was the compassion behind the training. The focus on empowering children and families really aligned with our school ethos.
